November chill blaws loud wi’ angry sugh
2nd December 2009
After church on Sunday we took a look down at Ayr beach. Unsurprizingly there weren’t many folk about as you could have cut jerky with the wind.
It did however give a clear light to get these photographs of Arran. Note the white on the tops – just frost, no snow yet!
I just had to photograph this ‘mad’ dog which was racing about the beach, though to no obvious purpose. Perhaps it was burning off energy or just trying to keep warm.

yes it does look like a very bleak winter’s day, perfect to be inside with the fire going

There is little more invigorating that walking against a raw wind on a beach until one is so chilled to the bone, he or she is thoroughly convinced any movement will cause offending appendage to simply fall off….then getting a cup of steamy hot chocolate, a warm blanket, and a good book. And yes, a cozy fire would certainly add to the ambience! Oh great….now I am longing to go for a long walk…..
