Old Lady – still going strong

My nephew Neil, in his blog post of yesterday, made reference to the Waverley – an old paddle steamer built in 1947 which, as far as can be ascertained, is the last remaining sea-going paddle steamer in the world.
This picture was taken on Monday afternoon from Doonfoot as she made her way down to Girvan and Ailsa Craig.

Brilliant – I’ve got some video of sailing on her from Penarth to Weston and back. I hope before long to transpose it to DVD and then offload some stills.
